An Overview of How It Works:

Learn How To

What You'll Learn:

Module 1: Essentials of Quality Touch

We build a solid foundation in the concepts and the practice of high quality touch. Combining fundamental anatomy theory and detailed hands-on practice, we establish a base upon which our following modules build a safe and successful massage practice. You'll learn enough techniques to offer a 60-minute massage experience. This module is focused on the most common high-tension areas for modern clients: the shoulders, neck and back.

Module 2: Expanding Your Repertoire

Here we solidify our understanding of content covered in the first module and we then build on these concepts and postures to begin to explore more of the body. By adding in more postures we will extend our massage offering to 2 hours. We'll increase our anatomy knowledge to include the major structures of the arms, legs, hands and feet, as well as the relevant techniques to work them.

Module 3: Customizing the Client Experience

In this module we will once again revisit and consolidate knowledge gained from previous courses and build from there. After this course you will be able to offer a 3-hour massage that will allow you to provide a total body experience for your clients. Given that most clients won't be able to make that much time for a treatment, we also begin the process of customizing your work to meet the needs of each individual. After this module, every addition of continuing education fuels an ever-more-detailed understanding of how to extract the greatest potential from your work with each client.

"The way you manage the centre is truly beautiful and you have managed to create a safe space (in many ways) in the middle of the jungle."

~ Marianne

"It’s so well put together and thoughtful. Everything is there for a reason…What I see in Navina is what I see for the future of other education."

~ Kyle

"The course content and resources were laid out better than any others I have seen and the online content was incredibly helpful and easy to access." ~ Gwen

Snippets Of The Coursework:

Ensuring You're Supported

Enhancing Your Experience:

  • Private WhatsApp Chat: Weekly messages in the group to keep you motivated and progressing through the content.

  • Monthly Group Calls: Live calls where we go through a review of the month and I can offer live feedback.

  • 1-on-1's: Sometimes the group call times won't work for you - no worries, let's get on a 1-on-1 call.

  • Filmed Feedback: I'll request you to record an occasional practice of techniques and will then record some feedback to improve technique.

Meet Your Instructor

Hey! My name is Drew and my own Thai massage journey started like a jump in the deep end of the pool. I had never even had one before and I signed up for all these courses in one go! 15 years on now, I can say I'm really glad I took that leap. It has been my preferred style of manual therapy since then (but not just from anyone).

I've been fortunate enough to travel to various places around the world and offer treatments, workshops and courses thanks to the unique way I use these techniques. There's a lot of potential therapeutic benefit that this practice has to offer - if you know how to implement it in a particular way.

None of it is rocket-science. It's basic physiology. I'll teach it to you. It's simple, effective & repeatable over time and across clients.

It really comes down to two things - SLOWING IT DOWN, which is easy enough for all bodyworkers to do (yet, for some reason they don't); and being able to continuously get better at customizing your treatments to each individual.

That's where we go.

And it's where our work has the potential to be actually therapeutic (not a claim of therapy, but actual results).

If you'd like to get in on this, whether you're looking to build a clientele out of this or just help friends and family members with this life-long skill, join me in Modules 1-3 to begin. I'll gladly take you down this rabbit hole.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a massage therapist for this course?

No, there's no pre-requisite knowledge for these modules. We'll take you through all the things you need to know to learn this work and perform it skillfully.

Do I have to attend the monthly live calls?

It's not mandatory, no. It's best if you can make the calls, to get refinements for your technique, but there are also other options (1-on-1's and recorded practices) to get detailed feedback, in case you can't make the group calls.

Can't I learn all of this on YouTube?

Not really, no. There's some you might be able to learn online in free forums, but nothing like the quality and continuity of information you'll find collected in our Modules 1-3.

Is there a time limit for the course?

Yes, this is the one course where there IS a time limit. You'll have access to the materials for a year. We'll work through the materials actively for 9 months (in a very gradual way, so there's no stress), and then you'll have access for an additional 3 months for review.

Do I have to record myself practicing?

Just like the monthly calls, recording yourself isn't mandatory - yet, it's strongly recommended to really extract all the benefit you can out of the investment you're making into your education.
